The Triads is the 18th produced episode and the 14th broadcast episode of the series Fireball XL5.
Plot[]
Nuclear explosions are coming from the planet Triad and Fireball XL5 is sent to investigate. They crash land in Fireball Junior and find that they have run out of fuel. They find themselves in a giant jungle and are forced into the trees by a giant tiger. They are rescued by two giants, Graff and Snaff, who tell them that their experimental rocket fuel keeps exploding, causing the nuclear explosions. Their fuel is the problem and XL5 team are able to alter it and use it to refuel Fireball Junior.
