In his mouth was the door to all wisdom, all power...
The Talisman Of Sargon is the 3rd produced, and broadcast, episode of the British television series Supercar.
Plot[]
Dr. Beaker is contacted by an archaeologist who asks for his help in translating an ancient Mesopotamian-era clay tablet's cuneiform-written inscription - and wants to see him in person about it. (This is a concern to the rest of Team Black Rock, as their internal security - specifically, the existence of Supercar - could be put at risk.) But he agrees to the visit, so long as it is conducted in his own laboratory, which has it own separate entrance...
Deciphering the tablet proves an involving task, and Dr. Beaker has a spread of opened reference books on his desk to assist him. As his effusive visitor becomes increasingly impatient, his host mentions a friend of his who's done in-the-field work in the area of the Middle East where the tablet was found - perhaps the two know each other? He finally manages a rough translation of the text: In his mouth was the door to all wisdom, all power...
...but his visitor has suddenly vanished, leaving the tablet behind! To compound the mystery, when Dr. Beaker hears back from his friend that he's never heard of the Nevada visitor, he at last realizes he's been had, and even by whom - none other than a disguised Masterspy!
The Supercar team quickly mobilizes and heads out after Masterspy, as Beaker gives Mike and his friends the background: the tablet's inscription is a "map" of sorts, to the legendary Talisman of Sargon - a priceless, engraved emerald said to bestow magic powers on whoever possesses it!

Trivia[]
- Jimmy variously appears, and disappears, from Supercar's back seat during the lengthy flight to the site of Sargon's tomb - notwithstanding that, at one point, Mike mentions that the youngster has stretched out in the back to get some sleep!
